Donato R. Vytiaco: Wit writ.

I am hoping that “Wit writ” be interpreted as “wit written” or “wit expressed in writing.” I was aiming for a tagline that suggests cleverness or brilliance expressed through my words ‘writ’ in my particular “unholy” style, as I trample on the illusive gap between prose and poetry — well, that’s my not-so obvious intention.

However, it’s worth noting that as are most of my introspective, or sometimes even my literal, verbose marked meanderings, can be somewhat… cryptic. So these may not immediately convey my intended message to all readers, a failure in communication would be the obvious conclusion.

But just like when one learns of a magician’s secret, or maybe even when having learned to ride a bike — one never forgets; or in my case, the sense of delight when one discovers the idea expressed in my quite “so very many” words, the exhilaration is unparalleled, the experience exceptional, and the message becomes unforgettable.

This is my way of fulfilling my goal of never having to repeat what I just said. An aphorism of, “Do it right the first time, every time.” Having an idea slowly creep up on you by building upon fundamentals, hearing words which carry the additional burden of feels, emotions, memory, and an aching for the eventual gratification in the realization of that abstracted opinion.

If my readers would extend their patience, as I take them on a choreographed journey, a semi-direct route of my incremental realizations — towards an idea that once grasped, belies the bizarre tangents and digressions that originally took the few that dared, on that road less traveled.

And that’s how my convoluted brain makes sense of this world. #donvy
