Regrets, I have many.
Especially being born into this family.

So let’s get back to my life in Uni.

Joined CompSoc, started runnin’ the show,
CityTrust in ‘85, summer job had me feelin’ alive,
Against a ComSci named Chinky, I was in the hive.
Chinky asked me to come, the bank asked me to try,
COBOL programming, I reached for the sky,
As luck had it, Spanish for me, Arespacuchaga evidently,
Six years at the Uni, life was an eventful spree.

From manufacturing ammo to CGI on the big screen,

Summer ‘86, I was teachin’ dBase and Wordstar,
In the heart of Cubao, was feeling like a superstar,
Non-credit French, one year at Alliance Francaise,
Got an Ind’l Eng’g degree, ArmsCor, it was a blaze.
1988, ArmsCor had us after graduation,
Detour to advertising, then to broadcast, what a sensation,
1994 to 97, 3D CGI, an upgrade so clever,
Singapore, Makati, setting up studios, felt like forever.

From Alliance Francaise to Armscor ammunition,
From Singapore to Makati, it’s a grand expedition,

1999, Unitel Productions, Optima Digital was the scene,
2002 to 2006, various gigs, life was a dream,
ADB’s book launch, Rustan’s year, videos, logos, cookbooks so clear,
Palawan, Cancun, Maui, destinations endear.
Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, then to Guam, construction worker in style,
Back to Manila, wrote for T3, life was versatile,
2008 to 2011, Click Digital Post, film and broadcast on the pile,
2009, woke up early, designed aviator patches, tarpaulin, t-shirts, with a smile.

From writing reviews to film production, life’s never undone,

2010, Boracay, Kidlat Awards, on a free trip, editing videos till dawn,
Mom turned 85 in 2011, Artists Revolution, logos drawn,
2012, dad turned 85, full-time gig at Globe, iPads on loan,
Ponds press event, giveaways, my skills have grown.
2014, mom turned 88, Van Gogh was “Alive” in BGC in 2019,
2020 we’d like to forget, pandemic scene,
2021, mom turned 95, life’s a serene dream,
Now it’s 2023, and I’m still on the scene.
